As the second fully realized 3D animation
by Draken Studios, Aces was created from the ground up
and all 3D models were designed specifically for the project.
Some special effects were implemented
to add a sense of history to this salute to WWII aircraft.
The idea for the project started with
a suggestion that, after Flight of the SparrowHawk, the
next animation be of a P-51 Mustang. The Corsair was added
early on due to its unique design and historical status.
